Exciting News: New Life Announces Gymnasium/Auditorium Expansion Project!
New Life Christian School believes that interscholastic athletics and physical education are an important part of its educational program. Athletics provide NLCS students with opportunities to develop such character traits as teamwork, self-discipline, integrity, and sportsmanship. NLCS expects its students, coaches and fans to always conduct themselves in an honorable and respectful way.
Over the past few years, basketball has become the primary athletic season at New Life Christian School. Both boys and girls teams participate and are members of the
Niagara Frontier Christian Athletic Association (NFCAA) and Independent Athletic Conference (IAC), playing teams in the Buffalo/Rochester area. For the 2015/16 season,
home games will be hosted at the St. Bonaventure University Fitness Center.
After participating in 4 competitions, winning 3 trophies, having 2 players reach the 1000 point benchmark, and suffering only 1 dreadful loss,
the NLCS boys basketball season came to an end marked by success. (20-1)
The girls team was also successful, ending the season with a winning record of 11-7. Having lost 2 starting guards to graduation, they are anticipating immense growth and rebuilding
for the upcoming season.
